10 Steps to Change Your Home Screen Icons Aesthetic
Here are 10 steps you can follow to make your customized app icons.
Step 1: Search for the “Shortcuts App”
Step 2: On the upper right corner, tap the “+” to add a new shortcut.
Step 3. On your new shortcut, press the “Add Action” button.
Step 4: Search for “Open App” in the search bar and tap it when it pops up.
Step 5: Then tap “Choose” so you can choose the app you want to create a shortcut for and select the app.
Step 6: Once you have chosen your app, on the upper right corner you’ll see the three white dots inside a blue circle, tap that.
Step 7: Enter the shortcut name, then tap “Add to Home Screen”. You can name the app whatever you want, but it’s easier to remember it if you just use the app name.
Step 8: Now to add a photo, tap the icon under the “HOME SCREEN NAME AND ICON” menu. You will get three options, tap on “Choose Photo.”
Step 9: You can choose the icon photo or any photo in your camera roll. You can also replace the name of your shortcut with whatever you want to see on your home screen, or just leave it blank for that clean minimal look.
Step 10: Lastly, tap “add” then “Done.”
That’s it! Now all you have to do is to repeat these steps to the apps that you’d want to create shortcuts for!
