Her Future-Trap music goes as hard as her neon-pink digital aesthetic glows.
Jess Audrey is a New York-based audiovisual artist and member of the sprawling roster of producers and graphic designers creating artwork for Bass-led, Future Trap collective NUMERALS. Her output for the label, alongside collaborator NOAH B, demonstrates an uncanny mastery in the fields of contemporary electronic music and left field net art.
Audrey’s idiosyncratic visual palette of consumer durables and rendered objects give rise to a utopian universe that recalls the hyperreal idealism of Second Life. It’s the glassy futurism of the visual language that has an odd synergy with her music. Shimmering, rapid-fire hi-hats and pitch-sliding sub-bass providing apt background music to an ultra-clean, glowing, digital environment.
