Tanawat Sakdawisarak’s Heady, Whacked-Out, Retro-Inspired Aesthetic

The heady aesthetic that Tanawat Sakdawisarak aka Bloody Hell Big Head wields is conceptually bizzare, visually intoxicating and totally whacked-out.

Crocodiles, beach balls, grids, shapes and squiggles fill the subtly retro scapes and scenes put together by Tanawat Sakdawisarak – The Bangkok, Thailand-based digital artist whose output is consistently weird, consistently oddball and consistently excellent.

In form and colour, Sakdawisarak’s work borrows a little from Art Deco, a little from Pop-Art and a little from 1980’s maximalism – a palette of of influences that he shows a lot of love for and brings together beautifully in his fun and exciting execution.
