The team behind a new Nike Flyknit promo project have put together a development reel showcasing the R&D process behind their Labyrinthine work.
The stunningly intricate 3D graphics were created by design and motion studio, ManvsMachine, who were commissioned by Nike Global to create a ‘cinematic piece that would communicate the ‘Infinite Possibilities’ of Flyknit’.
The development film shows how the team, in Houdini and Cinema 4D, played with procedural animation techniques – a type of animation used to generate real-time motion graphics.
