Kanye West has unveiled The Life of Pablo Album Cover on Twitter.
The cover, designed by Belgium Artist Peter De Potter, features stark, repetitious typography over a tan hue reminiscent of Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 previews.
Kanye West has unveiled the official album cover for his seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo, on Twitter. The album cover, designed by West in collaboration with renowned artist Peter Saville, features a minimalist design of a blue–tinted photograph of West wearing a pair of Yeezy shoes and a white hoodie, with the album title across the bottom.
The artwork has been met with mixed reactions on social media. While many fans have praised the simple design and praised West for keeping it classic, there are also some who are disappointed with the lack of creativity and originality. The Life of Pablo is set to be released on February 14th, 2016. It is the follow-up to West’s 2013 album, Yeezus, and is expected to feature guest appearances from Rihanna, Chance The Rapper, and Ty Dolla Sign.
The album cover is the latest in a series of promotional efforts by West leading up to the album’s release.
